Every year, restaurants produce over 6.5 million tons of fat, oil, and grease from cooked food. This waste, known as brown grease, is collected in grease traps at restaurants. We take this waste and turn it into an opportunity to help the environment.
Rather than taking the grease to a landfill, we use our innovative machinery to process the grease and create a usable biofuel. This fuel is used as a source for various energy including heating our nine buildings on our Lancaster campus.
