How does line jetting work?
What are the benefits of line jetting?
Clogged or blocked drain lines are the most common problems experienced by facilities producing grease or other industrial buildups. Although there are several methods to correct this problem, line jetting offers the most practical solution to both opening and cleaning problem areas in drain lines.

A tool called a power snake is used to open a line. This tool resembles a corkscrew with a hook blade and rotates to clean the center section of a drain line.
Essentially it cleans an area as wide as the snake itself. It cannot completely clean a clogged or blocked line and does not remove all of the debris. A snake can effectively open a line, but high pressure jetting is required to thoroughly clean a line and prevent further clogging problems. Since the power snake is run from specialized cable the cable lengths are limited to 100 feet or less. Ideally, the technician will want to work as close to the suspected clog as possible in order to "feel" the line and clog. Real good technicians will "feel" or read a problem in the line and know how to open most any line clog. Our technicians have the best training in the business to develop into experts in their field.

Our high pressure water jets are designed to fully scour the inside of any size pipes. We can jet clean lines from 2" up to 54" pipes. Each jet has a reach of approximately 500 feet. We have several nozzles designed for all situations. Some nozzles act as a rake to pull debris and sludge back into a holding tank that will hold waste. The debris, sludge, or waste material can then be removed from your system entirely by using a vacuum truck. We often team a pump truck and jet together to perform preventative maintenance cleaning services for commercial, industry, or residential jobs.
