· Dave Kline was born and raised in Salunga, PA, the son of down-to-earth, hard-working parents who instilled into their children the value of hard work. The saying “Do the right things for the right reasons” was ingrained into all members of the Kline’s household.
· Marshall, Dave’s father, had taken over the small septic service business which he learned from his father. Dave became 3rd generation in the family-owned business. He was raised in an entrepreneurial atmosphere learning on a daily basis from the best, his father, how to be a good businessman. Through Dave’s vision and willingness to take educated risks, the company has grown to become the region’s premier wastewater management service organization.
· Dave is the first-born of three children – leader of the pack – the one with natural drive. He has been a visionary from his early teens – always contemplating the next step for waste removal in conjunction with commitment to being environmentally-friendly. As a young teenager, he already knew what his livelihood would be and committed himself to pursuing and achieving his goal.
· By the age of 16, Dave knew that in order to grow his father’s business, another truck with a vacuum would be needed so he had his mother co-sign a loan for him to purchase his first truck. By the time Dave graduated from Hempfield High School, he had already established a customer base for his own soon-to-be business.
· And so the story goes, Dave continues being a leader and a visionary, and Kline’s Services continues to grow by providing innovative solutions for our customers’ wastewater management needs.
